Five men held over illegal guns

Johannesburg - Five men - including a police constable - were arrested near Hazyview on Thursday for the possession of illegal firearms, Mpumalanga police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Leonard Hlathi said the men, aged between 27 and 34, were found with two unlicensed guns.
“We also received information that they could be involved with illegal poaching at Kruger National Park. We seized four cars that were allegedly used to aid the poaching and will investigate further.”
They would appear in the Hazyview Magistrate's Court next Tuesday. - Sapa
