Student shoots bully

JOHANNESBURG - Councillors will on Wednesday return to Phineas Xulu Secondary School on the East Rand, after a grade 10 pupil was shot and killed by another pupil on Tuesday. Police arrested the 18-year-old on Tuesday after he allegedly shot Nkululeko Ndlovu in his chest four times. It is understood the teenager, who was apparently bullied the day before used his mother's police issued service pistol to commit the crime. It is alleged a group of learners took his cellphone while tormenting him. The Gauteng Department of Education spokesperson Charles Phahlane said examinations were interrupted for students from grade 8 to 11. But he said the matric exams were unaffected, and were scheduled to continue as normal. Eye Witness News COMMENTS BY SONNY This is the second incident in as many weeks where a child takes a parents (Policeman/women's) firearm and shoots a fellow student? Those members of the SAPS should be suspended and declared 'unfit to possess a firearm!' State or private.
