Johannesburg - Gauteng police commissioner Mzwandile Petros on Sunday called for calm following the killing of an East Rand metro police officer.
"Communities are reminded to use the government and community structures if there are concerns and not to take the law in their own hands or resort to violence," said Petros.
The official was allegedly assaulted by a businessman in Daveyton.
The man hit the officer with the fist when the metro police officers were towing his caravan, Chief Supt. Wilfred Kgasago said.
The man was allegedly operating his food stall in an area where he was not supposed to.
"The metro police officers were following on the letter of notice issued to the owner on March 13, to stop plying his trade at the spot called 'Esihlahleni' at the entrance of Daveyton from the N12 East," Kgasago said.
"When the officers tried to arrest the owner of the caravan, he lashed out with a fist on one of the officers who fell and landing with the back of his head on the ground."
The officer was declared dead at the scene.
The man was arrested and charged with murder.

Have we gone back to the Pre 1994 ERA where every terrorist was taught to

 "KILL A COP?"

NOW NORMAL CITIZENS ARE ALSO DOING IT.

Murder is not a crime in South Africa, it's, a "PSYCHIATRIC THING!"

Terrorism and Plunder is not a crime - Just a Psychiatric thing.

INSTEAD OF BUILDING MORE PRISONS THE ANC MUST INVEST

OUR MONEY IN MORE "PSYCHIATRIC WARDS!"
