A bomb scare at the SABC has emptied its Auckland Park headquarters according to several tweets on popular social media network, Twitter.

An SABC worker says there were police and bomb squad members at the scene, and he went home.
Another worker has confirmed that they have been evacuated and will only be allowed to return once the dogs have been through the building and they have been given the all clear
The worker says that all broadcast systems have been automated.
The TV licenses voicemail states that due to a fire drill they won't be available for the next two hours as at 02:14.
Comedian Trevor Noah tweeted a few minutes ago about the bomb scare. Anele Mdoda tweeted a request that "someone tell the AWB ETV is not here."
Grant Nash tweeted "first day back I'm having a BLAST."
Police have confirmed the bomb scare and are taking action. According to Warrant officer Gordon Billing, an anonymous caller called the threat into the SABC. The dog unit hasn't found anything yet.
Poppy Ntshongwana has tweeted that the scare is over, however Police have not confirmed that the all clear has been given.

The bomb scare at the SABC has ended, with workers returning to their offices after police gave the all clear.

Poppy Ntshongwana tweeted the news at about 3pm. Warrant Officer Gordon Billing confirmed this, and that this was a false call.
The threat was made on the 24th floor.
A docket for a bomb threat has been called.
The threat was met with humour by the SABC staff, with Anele Mdoda tweeting a request that "someone tell the AWB ETV is not here."
