Johannesburg - A man was shot dead in a bank robbery in Empangeni on Monday, said KwaZulu-Natal paramedics.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks said the man was shot once. The circumstances were not clear.
He was declared dead on the scene.
