Thieves rob Standard Bank

26 April 2010, 15:42

A bank in Rivonia was struck by robbers on Monday morning, Gauteng police said.

Two men entered the Standard Bank in Rivonia at 11.10am and demanded money, said Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela.

One of the men gave orders to the bank manager while the second pointed a 9mm pistol at the bank tellers.

They stole money from the bank's tills and put it into two sacks. The duo then ordered the bank employees to open the doors for them.

They escaped into a waiting black Navara.

Maphakela said police were searching for the two men as well as three others who were believed to be sitting in the Navara.

No shots were fired and no one was injured in the robbery. - Sapa

Yes, this is how we feed the rest of Africa!

They don't used Bank Cards, they use AK 47's!

Just another example of how our 'Freedom' was won!
