Three arrested in Pretoria raid

Three Zimbabweans, two men and one woman, were arrested in a Pretoria flat on Tuesday, for running an alleged multi million rand pirate DVD copying operation.
Acting on information that there might be drugs in this Schubart Park flat, among other illegal activities, members of the Belle Ombre Railway
police and the Pretoria City Improvement District (CID), raided the flat.
They discovered three rooms in the apartment used for the copying and printing of pirated DVDs, destined for streed vendors.
This included computers, PC Towers containing 9 DVD burners each, specialised pritners to print labels directly on the DVDs and 2 500 pirated copies ready for delivery.
This included DVDs of Iron Man 2 andJakhalsdans, neither of which are legally available on DVD yet.
The three will appear in court later this week on charges of manufacturing counterfeit DVDs.
